Insects that fight alongside you by following instructions given to them with your Insect Glaive. Kinsects are able to take a number of Extracts from monsters that will power you up. You can equip and strengthen a wide variety of Kinsects.
Attacking while holding L2 (on PS5) to aim during Focus Mode will have your Kinsect attack the monster, collecting Extracts. The Kinsect's trajectory will also change in accordance with your attacks.
